well well.....there's something wrong with my com todae but i can't figure it out...i can't go online at all!!! ever since i moved...the wireless network have some kind of problem....haiz...so i jus have post. today we went to peace haven, an old folks' home but it doesnt even look like one...it looks like some condominium except that it's not very tall....when we got there we were like, "this is an old folks' home?? CooL!!" so ya....then we went inside the first thing i saw was the counter, sorta like a reception haha! then there were all these rooms with names like FLamingo,Finch or something....the room my group went to was named Hornbill....or was it Hillborn? okayyyy....never mind. all of the old folks' were old ladies, they were sitting in chairs waiting for somone to entertain them till dinnertime....that's jus weird...cos' i don't WAIT for dinnertime....sometimes i don't even have time for dinner! i wonder how i would feel like if i were them, sittin there...not having to worry bout tution or school...jus trying to guess wad's for dinner that night. i think that's the difference now between old folks n youngsters...totally different lives....we had an hour with them...that's a very long time cos' our performance is definitely less than 15 mins. it's reallly funny how we tried to waste time...we sang the school song first...n other songs too....oh! n when we sang the "the moon represents my heart",we sang the same verse like twice and the whole song three times! hahaha....then nicole shuzhen n i danced. ximian's solo was the best i think everybody enjoyed it! :P then, since we got othing else to do we played a game using a ball, okay nvm i dont wanna explain it. after doin ALL THAT we still had 20 mins so we tried to interact with the old folks',using broken dialects (at least that was what i did) to talk to them...there was this reallly cool lady who was a world war 2 survivor can u believe it? World War 2!!!! she told us how she had suffered that 2 n three quarter years....n about her life...n we,amazingly, were very impressed by it. as the old saying goes, jia you yi lao,ru you yi bao. then we went home tired but happy (isnt' it always?)
got me singing like, nananana everyday, 9:31 AM.
